Practice before SGP in Daugavpils
Andreas wasn't the happiest man in the paddock after today's practice:
I don't feel well after this practice. Everything aches and I struggled a bit riding my bike. The track wasn't slick and even, it was grippy in the second corner and breaking the bike there needed a bit of strength. The strength which I lacked today... I can't say I was riding at my 100% today, probably it wasn't even 50% of the power I normally use when I race. However, the good thing is that we got to check all bikes and everything is working fine. I can only hope then that my body will be a bit stronger tomorrow. Adrenaline booster can make miracles sometimes!
AJ and other passengers of today's flight from Stockholm to Riga experienced a very scary moment when the plane was hit by a lightning! All lights on board went out and the plane shaked. Lightnings usually don't affect flights much, but the captain of the plane admitted this one was really strong.
It was a terrifying moment because we heard a roar, the plane shaked and the lights went out. I spend lots of time flying but this time I got really scared. It wasn't nice.
