One week of break for Andreas!
Andreas, who wanted to ride in the Wroclaw v Bydgoszcz match today, decided to withdraw from this meeting as well as Tuesday's match in Elitserien. The state of Latvian and Polish roads didn't help to have any rest in the van and AJ felt worse each time he woke up.
I can't ride. If this match was a matter of life and death for Polonia Bydgoszcz, I would try, but I don't think I could control my bike fully and be any use for the team. What's more, I'm afraid that riding in such state of health I could be a danger for other riders. So I'm not going to take this risk. I remember how many problems I had in earlier seasons when I came back on a bike after an injury but not being fully recovered. This time I'm taking one week of break and next Sunday's meeting at Gorzow, the Memorial Tournament of Edward Jancarz, will be the next meeting I will take part in. The team is going to need me in the play-off matches and I want to do my best then. I'm sorry if I disappointed some fans but there is really point in racing today.
