Practice before SGP in Terenzano
Today's practice at a very light, limestone looking track in Terenzano went well despite the heat. AJ's lap times were only getting better and better.
I wasn't happy when I drew number 3 today - says Andreas - because it means running off the gate C twice while everyone would like some the inside gates twice. But that's how it is with those draws, all about the luck so need to complain. As for the practice, first we went out on totally wrong set-ups. The track seemed hard and solid but when some shale came off, we had to ride on some little pebbles which were very slick. It's a really strange track because each line in the corners requires different handling of the throttle and different set-ups as well. I hope we've found the proper ones eventually though.
On our way to Terenzano we were talking about the upcoming SGP in Bydgoszcz and some speedway party-event which we would really like to organise for the fans at the Polonia stadium. Actually, every passing hour we know more and more and we are currently sorting out the last issues so hopefully in a couple of days we will be able to officially invite for the "Andreas Jonsson's GP of Poland Event" at the Polonia stadium in Bydgoszcz. I do hope all fans will enjoy it.
