SGP of Italy in Terenzano
It was a good meeting for AJ. Starting number 3 meant running off the outside gates which are usually unfavourable at such tracks like Terenzano. However, AJ got to score 5 points in his first two races and then 6 more from the inside gates.
Unfortunately, Andreas finished third in his semifinal and scored 12 points in total. AJ stays on the fifth position in the SGP overall standing missing 9 points to Greg Hancock.
I left the stadium in a good mood but obviously the result could be a bit better. Everything was going well from the beginning of the meeting. Our hard work done on Friday paid off.
I think the ref made a mistake in the semi because if he stops the race when I steal the start, in his opinion, he should have done the same when Pedersen did the same thing as me. The ref should be more consistent. Because of this I lost a good chance to catch up some points to Hancock. That's a shame.
Nonetheless, it was quite a good meeting and the atmosphere in the team is very good. We're already looking forward to the Bydgoszcz GP. Tonight I was loudly supported byt the representative of the BREWER company. I could hear their voice even wearing my helmet. BREWER is going to be my main sponsor next year so I'd like to thank them for their support riding as well as I can.
In Bydgoszcz we'll finish this season among our most faithful fans at some special event so we really cannot wait!
