WOSP
Wielka Orkiestra Swiatecznej Pomocy (Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity), which is the biggest an all-Poland annual charitable action, takes places tomorrow. WOSP collects money for buying professional and very expensive medical equipment for the Polish hospitals. So far, throughtout 18 year and days like tomorrow, WOSP has collected over 350 million zl. This year WOSP will be collecting money for equipment that helps saving lives of children with oncological diseases.Andreas has been involved in WOSP for many years. Every year AJ donated WOSP by passing some of his speedway equipment for WOSP auctions. All money from such auctions goes into the WOSP account. This year the AJ Racing team has had some other idea - the auctioned item will be a possibility of spending a whole league match in the pits with the AJ Racing team!
Every year we want to support WOSP - says Dawid Koziol, AJ's manager - but this year we wanted to offer something different, not just another usual gadget. We know that the paddock area during a speedway meeting is always a very interesting place for the fans so we hope there will be fans interested in this auction and the winner's money will help WOSP and the seriously ill children.
