Back at the track!
I'm really satisfied after my first day at the track this year. Looks like my team did a superb job during in the winter break because my bikes did not fail at all and I was feeling great on them. Obviously, such first riders after the winter break usually mean getting into it again than some proper testing but you always get some impression, whether things are fine or not. My first impression is that everything works perfect. It's the result of Mirek Duda and Adam Rachfalski's, my mechanics', work. It's been Adam's first time in the pits with us and I'm simply delighted with the atmosphere in my team.
Because of the very low temperature I could not do more than five, six laps and a few test starts. It was just bitterly cold, especially my hands were cold. Thankfully, the track had been prepared excellently and I could stand this for some time. I would like to thank the management of Unia Leszno for allowing me to practice at their track - it's very sportsmanship!
Tomorrow's going to be a day of break. There's in point in riding in this cold day by day, you need to give your body a little break and try not to get ill. Then we'll be looking forward to more optimistic weather forecasts.
Today sums up a bit preparations for the new seasons. The roar of my bikes' engines make me thank everyone who help me to prepare for this another season. Especially I would like to thank my sponsors, without whose help nothing would be possible. They are a super important part of my team!
