11th place in season opener
Andreas, who did not get a chance to take part in any test match earlier this month, finished 11th in Aces Criterion at Bydgoszcz.It wasn't my day - said Andreas after the meeting - actually nothing worked today. Once the bikes didn't want to run off, another time we got wrong set-ups etc ... However, I think the problem was more in me, than in my bikes. This whole week was quite weird, anyway, because out of many things planned, only a trip to Gothenburgh to shoot a SGP commercial at the Ullevi worked out. Then everything simply stopped, mostly because of my illness which cost me lots of energy. I have not recovered yet and I'm still not eating much and feeling weak. It was a good fun on Friday, during the meeting with the fans, but today was no good at all. I guess I'm also missing practice with other rivals, that's something I have not got to do this year yet. Bikes usually seem fast after another winter break but then when it comes to a real fight at the track you find that not everything is alright. I'm not going to leave it like this though. Practice that is supposed to answer a few questions has just been scheduled for tomorrow! Anyway, I think the fans gathered at the stadium could enjoy this meeting - a couple of races were quite exciting. Congratulations to Emil who was a class on his own today!
