Dackarna - Elit Vetlanda 51:45
Dackarna managed to win in a very exciting match against local rival, Elit Vetlanda. The guest team had been in the lead till the heat 13 but the result was very tight throughout the whole meeting. Winning last race 5:1 AJ and Rune Holta sealed the victory for Malilla!Meetings against Vetlanda are like derby matches for local fans - says Andreas. The distance between both citites is about 40 km so it's a bit like Bydgoszcz and Torun - the same hot atmosphere! Needless to say then, beating Vetland is always very important for our fans. It was not an easy match for us, though. The track was actually too grippy at the beginning and it was hard to fight and pass - sometimes it might have looked a bit more like motocross than speedway. Thankfully, these conditions changed later on and we could started catching up at last. We also talked over our previous mistakes during the break which helped in the last heats as well.
