Dackarna Malilla managed to win a very tough and exciting away meeting against Vargarna Norrkoeping tonight. AJ's team won by just two points and the match was decided in the last race!The host team took the lead after the 11th race but Dackarna counterattacked immediately and equalised. A draw result stayed until the last two heats which were won by Malilla 7:5. Andreas scored paid 11 in five races having an engine failure in his last heat.
I'm very proud of my team because winning at Norrkoeping is never easy - says AJ - lots of riders, including a couple of my team mates, dislike this track and struggle here. However, we really did our best tonight and got to win somehow! Unfortunately for me though, this meeting finished in a very unlucky way because I had an engine failure in the last race. Thankfully, it didn't decide the final result but it's a big problem for me at the moment. I lost another engine in the past few days and another ones are in on a service which means that I have been just left with no bikes! Right after this meeting I sent Mirek and Adam back to Poland to fix my best GM and solve other problems but having nothing to ride on I simply can't take part in Hans Andersen's Testimonial tomorrow. It's a huge shame, I feel stupid and it's a very uncomfortable situation for me but I hope my team mate will understand the trouble I am in now ... So, all in all I have got pretty mixed feelings tonight - I am very happy we managed to win this match but on the other hand I am really worried about my engines.
