Busy January
Though January doesn't seem to be an exciting month for speedway riders, Andreas has been pretty busy recently. Last Friday the rider took part in a pleasant award ceremony of the most popular sportsmen of the Kujawsko-pomorski region where such speedway cities like Bydgoszcz and Torun are located. Andreas won the 8th prize in this prestigious competition.
Saturday was a sports day as well. AJ played in Carlsberg Cup (a friendly football tournament) in Bydgoszcz representing the sport stars team against local VIPs. Despite claiming earlier not to be very highly skilled in football, Andreas was quite a strong link in his team scoring even a goal. Playing with Polish former football stars was a real pleasure.
The new HQ reconstruction is still in progress. All walls have been already done and currently some works on the floor etc. are being carried on. Everything should be finished this month.
This year's very mild winter makes it quite possible to have rides at the track soon. Andreas is about to check some new chassises set-ups and would like to do some laps around the Polonia oval in a couple of days. Will he manage to do it?
