My team lost the match in Tarnow but we don't have to feel ashamed. As for my performance, we did a small mistake in a set-up for the first heat but fortunately further corrections worked. I must say I'm satisfied with my ride and I'm feeling my bikes better and better. Everything's going well and I think this can't change.
In his first heat AJ was beaten by Holta and finished last. Thankfully it was totally different later on when fans could watch Andreas' exciting fight against Gollob brothers and three confident wins over local aces - Holta, Kolodziej and T.Gollob. In the last heat AJ and Okoniewski scored three points for Polonia repeling Holta's attacks...
However, a very unpleasant happening took place just after the meeting. Mirek Duda, the machanic, went to the van to pack the equipment. How surprised was he when it turned out that van's bodywork had been vandalized! Andreas was shocked as well.
I don't understand it at all. Tarnow fans must have no idea of what speedway or even sport is! What was their reason to scratch my van!? Where did that agression come from!? I can't find answer to these questions and I feel very sad! I have always thought you go to speedway to watch a good sports spectacle. I always try to provide an exciting speedway entertainment for all fans and now such thing has happened to me... Maybe they were angry because of Ljung's fall that took place in the heat 10? It happens in this sport and a referee is the only person to judge it. How could it happen that someone came here and destroyed my private property!? That's completely incomprehensible...
