Polonia Bydgoszcz lost their first match of this year's Ekstraliga, getting beaten by Czestochowa by only one point. The match was full of controversy and dramatic twists. Andreas scored 9 points in five races (getting excluded once).
Speedway Grand Prix of Europe in Leszno
AJ finished 13th scoring 5 points in this year's Speedway Grand Prix series opener at Leszno. In his first race Andreas had an engine failure, then crossed the finish line third three times. Eventually he got to show us some good speedway in his last heat, when the bike started riding fast enough...

I'm satisfied after this practice. At the beginning we didn't got the right set-ups but thankfully it was only better and better later on...

Dackarna Malilla, led by its four leaders - Andreas Jonsson, Peter Karlsson, Rune Holta and Hans Andersen, got to win 5-1 last two races of today's test match which sealed a 5 point victory over the Swedish Champions, Lejonen Gislaved.
Vetlanda Cup final
Same as in Friday's qualification tournament, also in the great final of the Vetlanda Cup Andreas didn't lose a heat! AJ rode in 4 races and scored the maximum while his team finished 2nd in this event, getting beaten by Gasarna Avesta.
Win in Vetlanda Cup
A friendly tournament Vetlanda Cup has started a new speedway season in Sweden! Dackarna Malilla led by AJ won the first qualification meeting. Andreas scored 12 points, the maximum. What is more, in an extra race AJ beat Griparna's leader, Daniel Davidsson, which sealed his team's victory in this meeting!
New silencers in Swedish league!
SVEMO, the Swedish motorcycle federation, have decided that all riders riding in Sweden this year will be allowed to use silencers with the 2010 homologation only!
Polish president's plane crash
It is a massive tragedy for the whole Polish nation. I have spent enough time in Poland to understand what the Polish feel today. My thoughts are with them and with all relatives and friends of the victims of this horrible crash. In this situation, announcing a national mourning and cancelling all sports events seems to be the only right decision. Hail to the memory of all people who have died today!
